Managing Consultant – Strategy & Transformation

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead Strategy & Transformation initiatives within its Advisors & Consulting Services division. The role focuses on delivering data‑driven strategic insights and technology‑enabled solutions to a global client base across banking, payments, retail, and other industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements across multiple industries, developing strategies and programs that leverage Mastercard’s data assets and technology platforms.
• Own relationships with mid‑level to senior client stakeholders, assessing client agendas, culture, and change readiness.
• Guide teams in generating insights, crafting business recommendations, and delivering impactful presentations.
• Provide day‑to‑day project leadership, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Partner with internal Mastercard product and business development teams to scope projects and build intellectual capital.

Required profile

• Proven experience in management consulting or strategy roles, preferably within financial services or digital payments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
