Mechanical Design Engineer – Plumbing & Firefighting

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer specialized in plumbing and firefighting systems to contribute to high‑quality building services designs across multidisciplinary projects. The role focuses on delivering efficient, compliant, and sustainable mechanical solutions while working closely with project teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop plumbing and firefighting system designs, including domestic water supply, drainage, stormwater, and fire protection.
• Perform piping sizing calculations, system layout planning, and technical coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports in line with international standards and local regulations.
• Apply relevant codes such as ASPE, NFPA, NPC and local authority requirements.
• Create and maintain BIM models using Revit to support coordinated project delivery.
• Participate in client meetings, communicate design intent, and support resolution of technical challenges.
• Identify design risks and propose innovative engineering solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical design of plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and junior engineers.
• Commitment to technical excellence and continuous improvement.
