Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Technical Office Engineer will support project execution by preparing and reviewing technical documentation, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring accurate procurement and invoicing. This position works closely with site engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Study project documents, including specifications, contracts, drawings, and timetables.
• Prepare shop drawings and as‑built drawings for fire‑fighting, HVAC, and plumbing systems, securing consultant approval.
• Draft and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical/material submittals.
• Conduct quantity surveying, pricing, and follow up on drawing and submittal approvals.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal pricing.
• Prepare subcontractor and client invoices based on site progress reports.
• Manage variation orders and maintain related documentation.
• Develop monthly procurement and financial plans to forecast site needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or contracting companies.
