Mixing Operations Lead

About the role

The Mixing Operations Lead is responsible for leading the mixing and blending production team, ensuring safety, quality and operational excellence across all shifts. You will drive continuous improvement, manage resources and projects, and resolve operational challenges to meet site goals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop mixing/blending operators across shifts using skill matrices.
• Maintain safety, quality and compliance standards in line with Henkel values.
• Monitor daily performance, implement production strategy and drive efficiency improvements.
• Identify and eliminate chronic losses, remove obstacles and resolve operational conflicts.
• Lead key projects, manage budgets, materials and equipment maintenance.
• Apply SIM processes, 5S, Six Sigma and cross‑functional collaboration to optimise processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in mixing, blending or related production environments.
• Strong organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, conflict management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) knowledge.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001 standards.
• Experience with SIM processes, 5S and Six Sigma methodologies.
