Nightshift Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Nightshift Maintenance Technician to join our Lanett, AL folding‑carton facility. You will work the 7 PM – 7 AM shift, ensuring equipment reliability and a safe work environment while supporting our sustainable packaging operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high‑speed manufacturing machinery.
• Purchase, stock, and manage spare parts and supplies.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks and oversee the overall preventative maintenance program.
• Coordinate contract repairs and modifications for equipment and facility.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams and complete additional tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety rules, contribute to zero‑injury goals, and support audit compliance.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and maintain optimal equipment production time.

Required profile

• Industrial Technology or Maintenance degree.
• 3–5 years of experience maintaining high‑speed manufacturing machinery.
• Extensive knowledge of servo drives and PLCs.
• Mechanical experience with electronics and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with PC‑based programs and mainframe information systems.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection).
