Operations Manager – Remote Travel Operations

About the role

We are a leading travel and tour operator seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our remote operations team. You will oversee day‑to‑day travel operations, supervise Operations, Reservations and Customer Support, and drive continuous performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily activities of the Operations Department.
• Manage Operations Specialists, Reservations and Customer Support teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of all confirmed bookings.
• Develop and implement operational procedures, policies and quality standards.
• Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, guides and other suppliers to guarantee smooth service delivery.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement efficiency and satisfaction improvements.
• Resolve escalated operational issues and customer concerns promptly.
• Oversee booking handovers from Sales and ensure seamless execution.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews and coaching sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in Travel & Tourism operations, preferably in the European market.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and customer‑service skills.
• Deep understanding of FIT, private and group travel operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in WhatsApp Business.
• Strong command of Google Workspace.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
