Planning Engineer

About the role

The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain detailed project schedules for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones and targets. The role involves close collaboration with site, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to monitor progress and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, including baseline and detailed work programs.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, identify critical activities and potential risks.
• Collect and analyze progress data from various disciplines and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and assess schedule/cost performance.
• Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for delayed activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in planning/project controls within construction or infrastructure projects (mid‑level).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project scheduling, and progress measurement.
