Planning Section Head (Demand & Supply Planning)

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a Planning Section Head in its Industrial Zone, Badr City location. The role leads demand planning, supply and production planning, and supports the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, reporting directly to the CEO and COO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP process to build a consensus-based demand forecast, working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to include commercial plans.
• Use statistical models and analytical tools to generate accurate baseline forecasts for all SKUs.
• Turn the approved demand plan into a master production schedule and resource plans, ensuring material availability and production capacity.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Track and report on KPIs such as forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, OTIF and inventory turns, and prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for the CEO and COO.
• Support annual budgeting and strategic planning with data-driven insights on capacity and demand.

Required profile

• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in a supply chain planning role (demand, supply or S&OP) within the FMCG industry.
• Excellent command of both English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly to senior leadership and present findings confidently.

Required skills

• Proven expertise in the S&OP process.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
