Plant & Safety Manager – Giza Plant

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Plant & Safety Manager to lead performance and sustainability initiatives for its Giza plant and associated facilities (CFI Assuit & Tanash). The role focuses on driving top‑line and bottom‑line KPIs, enhancing productivity, and embedding PepsiCo best‑practice tools across operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead plant performance and Pep+ agenda across all top‑line and bottom‑line KPIs, including environmental sustainability metrics.
• Drive productivity ideation projects and implement PepsiCo best‑practice tools.
• Review daily plant performance to ensure KPIs remain on track.
• Analyze KPI trends, identify opportunities, and prepare weekly and monthly scorecards for plant teams and senior management.
• Monitor monthly manufacturing costs (MOH) on a weekly basis, pinpointing development areas.
• Set and manage the Annual Operating Plan for plant KPIs, assessing equipment efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.
• Ensure continuous learning and development of employees in lean improvement tools and communication methods.
• Coach and facilitate employee development to sustain improvement culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading plant performance and KPI management.
• Knowledge of environmental sustainability metrics within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing costs and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Experience setting and reviewing annual operating plans for equipment efficiency and productivity.
• Strong background in lean improvement tools and employee development.
