Procurement Team Leader

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of automotive wiring solutions, is seeking a Procurement Team Leader to manage and supervise its procurement function at the production facility in Egypt. The role focuses on ensuring efficient raw material supply, supplier integration, and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Procurement Management unit, setting objectives and KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, provide consulting, and ensure governance and process adherence.
• Plan team activities, define objectives, and monitor results.
• Develop direct reports through training, coaching, and succession planning.
• Oversee raw material supply processes, supplier integration, and stock level optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or material planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Fluent English communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (formulas, data analysis, tracking tools).
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Strong understanding of MRP logic and inventory control.
