Professor / Lecturer in Removable Prosthodontics

About the role

The German University in Cairo seeks highly qualified academics to join the Faculty of Dentistry as a Professor, Associate Professor or Lecturer in Removable Prosthodontics. The successful candidate will lead both theoretical and practical teaching activities, mentor students, and contribute to the department’s academic development.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory, clinical and other practical sessions for dental students.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials and seminars covering removable prosthodontics concepts.
• Monitor and assess student portfolios, providing guidance and feedback.
• Update and enhance course materials, ensuring alignment with related departments.
• Develop interdisciplinary electives and collaborative courses.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in dentistry or a closely related field.
• Several years of teaching and clinical experience in removable prosthodontics.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in multicultural environments.
