Purchasing Specialist – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist (F&B) will oversee the day‑to‑day procurement of food, beverage and bakery ingredients for Eden Bakery & Coffeehouse in New Cairo. Working on‑site, you will ensure a steady supply of high‑quality products that support the bakery’s commitment to fresh, superior offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders for all F&B and bakery supplies.
• Negotiate terms and prices with vendors, evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with kitchen and service teams to guarantee timely receipt of goods.
• Track purchasing costs, analyse spend data and report on budget adherence.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with safety, quality and budgetary standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in food & beverage purchasing or a related supply‑chain role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor evaluation and purchase‑order management.
• Analytical mindset with ability to track spending and optimise purchasing decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Relevant education in business, hospitality management or a related field is an advantage.
