Quality Inspector – FMCG Bakery Production

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our bakery and food manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring that raw materials, in‑process items and finished products meet the company’s high quality and food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints and production instructions to understand quality expectations.
• Approve or reject raw materials based on quality criteria and record supplier performance.
• Select output samples and inspect them using dimensional measurement and functional testing methods.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results and daily defect reports.
• Inspect production procedures throughout the manufacturing cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Verify that products comply with company quality standards and relevant food safety regulations.
• Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Supervisor/Manager.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and enhancing product quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality‑control role.
• Previous experience in bakery, food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems, preferably ISO 9001.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team.
