R&D Specialist – Gas Cooker Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a motivated R&D Specialist to join our gas cooker manufacturing plant in 6th of October City. You will lead product development initiatives, drive innovation, and ensure our appliances meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve gas cooker models and related components.
• Conduct market and competitor research to generate innovative product ideas.
• Plan, execute, and analyse product testing and validation activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and development reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and maintenance teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and support value‑engineering projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of R&D experience in gas cookers, home appliances, or related manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar).
• Knowledge of gas appliance components and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in product testing and familiarity with quality standards.
• Understanding of metal fabrication, assembly processes, and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
