Readymix Plant Manager

About the role

The Readymix Plant Manager will lead the entire scope of operations at Lafarge's RMX batch plant in Ain Al‑Sokhna, ensuring that production targets, safety standards and financial objectives are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce health and safety legislation, Lafarge safety standards and promote a strong safety culture across all employees and contractors.
• Provide monthly safety performance reports, lead investigations of major incidents and develop improvement action plans.
• Prepare and discuss the annual budget with the Manufacturing Director, analyse accounts, achieve cost‑saving targets and submit capital‑expenditure data.
• Monitor actual performance against budget, participate in quarterly business reviews and drive operational initiatives to maximise plant performance and minimise equipment downtime.
• Oversee concrete plant erection, removals, major refurbishments and ensure all electrical works are completed safely.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a ready‑mix concrete or batch plant.
• Strong knowledge of health‑and‑safety regulations and ability to lead safety investigations.
• Demonstrated capability in budgeting, cost control and capital‑expenditure planning.
• Leadership skills to drive operational excellence and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
