Reservation Supervisor

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Reservation Supervisor in Sharm El-Sheikh. The role supervises daily reservations operations and supports revenue performance through yield management and upselling.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily reservations operations so that enquiries and bookings are handled promptly, accurately and in line with brand standards
• Maintain clear communication between Reservations, Front Office and other key hotel departments
• Oversee daily administrative tasks, correspondence and reporting, and ensure compliance with Emergency Communication procedures by directing media enquiries to the nominated spokesperson
• Monitor reservation payments, authority forms and chargeback processes, escalating issues to the Financial Controller when needed
• Apply Elysium yield management practices, track competitor activity and drive upselling initiatives while managing no-show bookings in line with hotel policy
• Support, coach and guide Reservations Agents on group bookings and complex transactions
• Ensure adherence to the Resavision Program, Elysium brand standards and LQA audit requirements, and carry out other duties assigned by the Reservations Manager or senior leadership

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel reservations or front office operations; supervisory or senior agent experience preferred
• Confident communicator able to liaise with Front Office, Revenue, Sales and other stakeholders
• Guest-focused, with attention to detail and a commercially minded approach to identifying upselling opportunities
• Natural team leader who enjoys coaching and developing team members
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of reservations systems, yield management principles and booking channels, ideally in an Accor or similar luxury hotel environment
• Prior experience with Opera or a related system
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and to meet audit requirements
