Reservations Agent – Cairo

About the role

The Reservations Agent will handle all guest reservation inquiries for St. Regis Cairo, ensuring a smooth booking experience from initial contact through stay completion. This full‑time position supports the hotel's revenue goals while delivering exceptional service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and recommend appropriate room types and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Document and accommodate special requests, including disabilities assistance.
• Answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input accurate data into the reservation system.
• Code special room types (complimentary, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, wholesale) correctly.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and adhere to all company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and support team goals.
• Perform light physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
