Reservations Manager

About the role

Accor is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Reservations Manager to lead its Reservations Department in Cairo, Egypt. The role covers day-to-day operations, customer service, revenue maximization and team leadership, working closely with senior management, Sales, Front Office and Revenue teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the Reservations team to meet service standards and revenue targets
• Manage occupancy forecasting, monthly objectives and revenue strategies with senior management
• Handle reservation inquiries professionally and identify upsell opportunities
• Monitor and optimize room availability, rates and inventory across PMS, GDS and online booking platforms
• Run regular yield management meetings and coordinate with Sales, Front Office and Revenue teams
• Oversee group bookings, special allocations and promotional inventory
• Keep reservation data, communications and reporting accurate
• Analyze booking trends, occupancy patterns and performance metrics to guide strategy
• Improve team productivity and customer satisfaction, and act as a brand ambassador

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional experience in a Reservations leadership role
• Coaching and team development abilities
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong organization and time management skills

Required skills

• Strong computer skills
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS), ideally Opera Cloud or similar
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
