Senior Backend Developer

About the role

Tether is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join its global fintech team. You will work remotely on the core backend services that power Tether’s stablecoin ecosystem, tokenisation platforms and related digital‑finance products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend components for new products and features using agile methodologies.
• Ensure services remain highly scalable, responsive and real‑time as user volume grows.
• Implement and uphold rigorous security standards across all backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in backend development.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
