Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components across a range of projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing performance, and managing the full project lifecycle from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.
• Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Oversee project lifecycle, including concept, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors for seamless execution.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to meet specified standards.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout projects.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, reports, and manuals.
• Generate regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex mechanical projects.
• Strong understanding of regulations and client requirements.
