Senior Mechanical Engineer – BIM (Remote, English Required)

About the role

Senior Mechanical Engineer – BIM with strong expertise in BIM and Autodesk Revit MEP to join a remote team. The role combines solid mechanical engineering knowledge with hands‑on BIM experience and supports testing, improvement and customer training of engineering software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional and technical testing of BIM software to ensure quality, accuracy and reliability.
• Validate software features against mechanical engineering requirements and BIM industry standards.
• Identify, document and report software bugs, defects and technical issues.
• Collaborate with Software Development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve reported issues.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer inquiries related to BIM software.
• Conduct product demonstrations, customer onboarding sessions and technical training.
• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering with strong BIM experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, workflows, standards and coordination processes.
• Hands‑on experience with MEP and/or fire protection projects.
• Knowledge of Revit Families, templates and project standards.
• Experience with software testing, validation, QA or defect reporting.
• Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting and delivering technical training.
