Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

National Pipe Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead safety‑focused maintenance operations at its Badr City facility. You will ensure equipment reliability, oversee shutdown planning, and integrate safety standards across all maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce legislation, company policies, and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and contractors.
• Plan and execute weekly and scheduled shutdowns, coordinating resources with the scheduler.
• Maximize equipment availability using best‑available tools and procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance, manage spare‑parts logistics, and develop a spare‑parts plan.
• Support ODOO ERP implementation and ensure accurate data flow.
• Make decisions on safe equipment operation, required maintenance, and technical issues.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, and movement of batch‑plant equipment.
• Comply with QMS and HSE policies, report unsafe conditions promptly, and promote safe practices among staff and contractors.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in the ready‑mix industry within a maintenance department.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English and Arabic.
• Strong IT literacy, especially with MS Office; experience with ODOO is preferred.
• Problem‑solving mindset, detail‑oriented, with the ability to lead, teach, motivate, and coach team members.
