Senior Product Manager (Routing)

About the role

GeoWay is the core routing and ETA engine powering every inDrive trip globally, supporting city rides, intercity, freight and deliveries across 1,200+ cities. It is built in-house, from road graph creation and real-time traffic estimation to custom cost functions and travel-time prediction. Based alongside the engineering team in Cairo, the team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to define the vision, roadmap and delivery of this mission-critical platform, tackling routing challenges that off-the-shelf vendors cannot solve.

Key responsibilities

• Own and defend the routing roadmap: set the strategic sequencing across six business verticals and justify technical trade-offs.
• Run rigorous experiments: launch routing and algorithm changes behind controlled A/B tests and measure outcomes against travel-time error distribution, pre-pickup cancellation rates and driver earnings per online hour.
• Partner closely with backend and ML engineering on technical feasibility within strict latency and compute budgets, writing precise, production-ready product specs.
• Quantify the opportunity cost of defects and enhancements before building, estimating trip exposure and financial value.
• Conduct field research by riding with local drivers and couriers, turning real-world edge cases into structured data queries.
• Act as gatekeeper of route quality, using hard evidence to push back against requests that could degrade platform performance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping measurable features.
• Strong technical fluency with data pipelines and distributed backend systems, and active contribution to engineering design reviews.
• Business-fluent English (B2/C1+ or equivalent).

Required skills

• SQL: writing your own queries to analyse large datasets and diagnose root causes.
• Deep understanding of error distributions, variance and segment-specific drivers.
• Hands-on A/B testing: designing experiments, setting hypotheses, metrics and guardrails, and analysing results.
