Senior R&D Software Engineer – AI & Cloud (Cairo)

About the role

Infomineo is seeking a Senior Research & Development Software Engineer to lead AI‑driven initiatives in its Cairo office. The role combines DevOps, cloud architecture, and data engineering to build scalable, automated solutions that enhance the company’s business‑insight services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AI‑powered automation tools.
• Apply DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Architect and maintain scalable cloud environments on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Integrate AI services with existing platforms through robust API development.
• Develop data engineering workflows to prepare large datasets for model training.
• Manage AI project lifecycles using agile methodologies and report progress to stakeholders.
• Continuously research emerging AI and automation technologies and propose improvements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven experience in DevOps, cloud computing, AI projects and API integration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Programming languages: Python, Java.
• AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow (preferred).
• API development and integration.
