Senior Site Engineer - Civil

About the role

Sabbour Consulting is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to lead civil construction activities on its projects. You will ensure that all works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards while maintaining a safe site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works on‑site and monitor progress against the project schedule.
• Review and approve contractor shop drawings, method statements and material submittals.
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and other discipline engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections, issue NCRs and observation reports as needed.
• Verify work progress and quantities for interim payment certificates.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and attend site meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Review as‑built drawings for accuracy before submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably within consulting or construction supervision.
• Proven experience on large‑scale commercial, residential or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and international specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and reporting abilities.
