Server – Hotel Restaurant

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Server in Cairo, Egypt. The role is the face of the establishment, delivering exceptional service and memorable dining experiences in a collaborative, supportive and inclusive team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly and professionally
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, knowing menu items, daily specials and preparation methods
• Serve food and drinks promptly with quality presentation
• Maintain properly set and organised tables
• Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit cards
• Work closely with kitchen and support staff to ensure timely service
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns and special requests with empathy
• Keep the dining area clean, organised and hygienic in line with food safety standards
• Do side work such as restocking, cleaning stations and preparing the dining space
• Stay flexible on schedule and support the team during peak times

Required profile

• Good spoken and written English
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and etiquette
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Basic math skills for handling money accurately
• Teamwork, time management and multitasking skills
• Physical stamina to stand and move for long periods
• Food handling certification (may be required by local regulations)
• Previous food service, hospitality or customer-facing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Egyptian cuisine and dining customs beneficial
