Services and Solutions Procurement Manager

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Services and Solutions Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for large, complex tenders and projects. The role ensures competitive, safe, and profitable execution by selecting optimal suppliers and managing the supply chain throughout the tender and execution phases.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Country Procurement Leaders to establish a Solution Purchasing set‑up for each major tender, leveraging a shared pool of resources.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for large tenders, covering RFQ preparation, negotiations, supplier audit and qualification, contract management, value engineering, pricing database maintenance, and risk management.
• Represent procurement and supply chain in tender gate reviews, providing transparent risk profiles and cost inputs.
• Award internal and external supplier contracts within the approved budget and ensure compliance with governance procedures.
• Develop and track purchasing improvement action plans, reporting progress on a monthly basis.
• Coordinate with regional SC country leaders to monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing procurement for large, complex projects or tenders.
• Strong ability to develop procurement capabilities within regional teams.
• Excellent negotiation, risk assessment, and contract governance skills.
• Capacity to work cross‑functionally with supply chain, finance, and project delivery teams.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills a plus.
