Site Architect – On‑site Role in Cairo

About the role

The Site Architect will work full‑time on‑site in Cairo, overseeing the architectural execution of residential and mixed‑use projects for Sorouh Developments. The role ensures that designs are accurately implemented, meet specifications, codes and quality standards, and supports seamless integration between design and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and consultants to align architectural work with project goals.
• Review construction drawings and shop drawings, conduct site inspections and resolve design‑related issues in real time.
• Monitor progress, prepare reports and documentation, and recommend practical design adjustments to preserve aesthetic and functional integrity.
• Participate in project meetings, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and support timely delivery within scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; professional licensure or registration is a plus.
• Proven experience in site supervision or similar architectural roles within residential or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong foundation in architectural design, project management and integration with structural, MEP and finishes disciplines.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a collaborative on‑site work style.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD platforms.
• Experience with BIM and design collaboration systems.
• Strong technical drawing skills.
• Knowledge of Egyptian local building codes, construction practices and materials.
