Site Team Leader - Mechanical

About the role

The Site Team Leader – Mechanical will supervise day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring that project designs are implemented correctly, on schedule, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. You will coordinate with subcontractors, the site manager and other trades to drive progress and resolve issues on an active construction site in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Study zone drawings to prepare material, equipment and man‑hour requirements aligned with project priorities and schedule.
• Audit and supervise subcontractor performance, reporting issues to the Site Manager and taking corrective actions.
• Allocate material and manpower, supervise the team, and handle day‑to‑day site issues.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control Department for inspections and corrective actions.
• Prepare daily status reports highlighting performance and obstacles.
• Ensure safety and quality requirements are applied by all site personnel.
• Review labour productivity rates to keep costs within budget.
• Collaborate with other trades and the technical office to ensure proper implementation of shop drawings.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering.
• 7–9 years of experience in mechanical construction or a related field.
• Good command of English.

• AutoCAD.
• Microsoft Office.
