Spa Supervisor

About the role

A full-time Spa Supervisor is sought for a luxury hotel in Cairo, Egypt, to oversee all spa operations, manage the team of therapists and deliver guest experiences that meet luxury brand standards. The position combines operational expertise with a focus on guest satisfaction and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations and ensure SOPs and policies are followed and the facility stays in peak condition
• Lead, mentor and motivate the therapy team, giving feedback, performance reviews and development opportunities
• Manage inventory of products, supplies and equipment and maintain accurate records
• Drive retail and treatment revenue goals while keeping service quality high
• Ensure treatments are safe, professional and hygienic, with quality checks
• Communicate guest preferences and requests to other departments and maintain guest databases to encourage rebooking
• Greet guests and members, resolve concerns and promote spa packages and promotions
• Give extra attention to VIP arrivals and coordinate with other spa programs and hotel departments
• Maintain ambiance standards (lighting, music, cleanliness) and report maintenance, security and equipment issues to management
• Take part in meetings and training, follow safety protocols and act as a brand ambassador

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of spa experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Government-approved spa therapy certification and current professional licensure
• First Aid and CPR-Basic Rescuer certification
• Knowledge of LQA, Forbes and Accor luxury service standards and quality assurance protocols
• Strong English (oral and written); flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Physical demands include constant standing and walking, lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional climbing of stairs and ladders
