Tax Operations Lead

About the role

PwC is hiring a Tax Operations Lead in Cairo (ETIC) to lead the setup and coordination of its tax operations support function. The role covers mobilization, stakeholder coordination, delivery planning, knowledge transfer and governance, and sits at manager level within the management line of service.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilize the SDC operating model: define the mobilization plan, track workstreams and milestones, review prior year materials, support resource planning and onboarding, and support the transition to business-as-usual.
• Act as the main coordination point between auditors, the client and PwC teams, coordinate stakeholder meetings, resolve issues and track KPIs and service performance.
• Set up a central tracker for activities and milestones, monitor progress against plan, and manage delivery risks and issues.
• Run knowledge transfer between onshore tax operations teams and the SDC ETIC team, write process documentation, maintain a team dashboard and identify process improvements.
• Establish governance routines (status meetings, risk reviews, stakeholder reporting), set quality control checkpoints and track risks, issues and dependencies while respecting data privacy and confidentiality.
• Oversee the tax operations adjustment process, support executive updates and reporting, coordinate interim support needs, maintain the tax operations calendar and report progress to leadership.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in project management, delivery coordination, tax operations support, managed services, shared services or service center mobilization.
• Prior experience in tax operations delivery, offshore delivery models or professional services environments is preferred.
• Experience setting up or mobilizing delivery teams or shared service centers.
• Ability to turn requirements into clear, structured instructions and processes.

Required skills
