Tax Operations Lead - Manager

About the role

PwC is hiring a Tax Operations Lead (Manager) in Cairo for its ETIC line of service. The role leads the setup and running of the shared delivery centre's operating model for tax operations support, coordinating auditors, clients and PwC teams and overseeing delivery planning, governance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilise the SDC operating model: define the mobilization plan, track workstreams and milestones, review prior-year materials and support resource planning and onboarding.
• Act as the main coordination point between auditors, client and PwC teams, schedule stakeholder meetings, resolve issues and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Set up a central tracker for activities and milestones, monitor progress against plan, track KPIs and service performance, and report to leadership.
• Run knowledge transfer between onshore and SDC teams, write process documentation, maintain a team dashboard and identify process improvements.
• Establish governance routines (status meetings, risk reviews, reporting forums), quality control checkpoints and risk tracking, while respecting data privacy and confidentiality.
• Oversee the tax operations adjustment process, support executive updates and reporting, and support interim tax operations needs.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in project management, delivery coordination, tax operations support, managed services, shared services or service center mobilization.
• Prior experience in tax operations delivery, offshore delivery models or professional services environments is preferred.
• Experience setting up or mobilizing delivery teams or shared service centers.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Excel, trackers, dashboards and project reporting tools.
• Ability to turn requirements into clear, structured instructions and processes.
