About the role

The Technical Office Chief Engineer – Electrical will lead the supervision of design reviews, shop drawings, and material management for high‑voltage substation projects. This senior position ensures that all technical documentation meets quality standards and aligns with project contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Implement technical office policies and procedures.
• Study contract documents, schedules, design drawings and BOQs.
• Audit and review shop and coordination drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with other trades to resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
• Manage shop drawing logs and submit drawings for consultant approval.
• Audit RFIs and address technical issues arising during construction.
• Review and coordinate sub‑contractor and outsourced shop drawings.
• Supervise land coordinate data and site measurement activities.
• Report unexpected technical difficulties to the Technical Office Manager.
• Oversee as‑built drawing preparation and hand‑over.
• Audit material submittals and ensure consultant approval.
• Ensure team compliance with HSE policies and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with proven high‑voltage substation experience.
• Strong command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
