Valet Parking Cashier

About the role

The Valet Parking Cashier ensures smooth vehicle traffic and provides courteous service to guests at our hotel. Working in the parking area, you will direct personal and commercial vehicles, handle cash transactions, and support guests with information about the property and local attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and direct guest, taxi, limousine and bus traffic to ensure legal parking and efficient flow.
• Maintain safety, security and cleanliness of parking levels; report hazards or unauthorized persons.
• Communicate parking procedures, re‑route traffic when capacity is reached and keep staff informed.
• Provide guests with directions, amenity information and local area tips.
• Handle cash changes, complete nightly vehicle audits and submit charge lists.
• Secure vehicle keys and maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Follow all company policies, report incidents and uphold professional appearance.
• Stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; ability to learn quickly.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift up to 10 lb for an entire shift.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, security and guest satisfaction.
