Valuations & Economics Senior Associate, Transaction Services

About the role

PwC is hiring a Valuations & Economics Senior Associate for its Deals Transaction Services practice in Cairo. The team provides independent valuations to clients involved in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, using data-driven insights to unlock deal value and ensure financial transparency. The role sits within the Advisory line of service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in performing business enterprise and equity valuations using the Income Approach, Market Approach and Net Assets Approach, incorporating sector, deal and/or investment considerations
• Interpret results from valuation methods and conclude on an appropriate valuation estimate
• Deliver high-quality work products and present valuation findings
• Work with colleagues across all lines of service on valuations involving other project teams
• Assist with proposal development to win new projects
• Support risk and quality activities and administrative requirements
• Keep up to date with valuation technical and market developments and contribute to practice development initiatives
• Guide junior team members and review their work outputs

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience in valuations from a professional services background or Investment Banking & Private Equity
• Experience creating and reviewing financial models and valuations
• Exposure to asset and net worth, discounted cash flow and transaction services, or a multinational organization
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Government clearance required; work visa sponsorship is not offered
