Warehouse & Logistics Manager

About the role

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will lead the operation of GROME Trading's warehouse and distribution centre, ensuring efficient storage, accurate inventory management and timely inbound and outbound logistics. The role also oversees the performance of any third‑party logistics providers to meet service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the warehouse and distribution facility, including inventory of finished goods and components.
• Coordinate with customs, GOIEC and GAFI as the Import Manager.
• Maintain accurate recording and reporting of inbound and outbound movements.
• Plan and execute weekly, monthly and wall‑to‑wall inventory counts, reconciling data with WMS, SAP and customs records.
• Ensure bin health, location accuracy and FIFO application in the outbound process.
• Monitor SMOS inventory, propose corrective actions and maintain Material Master and Storage Bin data in SAP.
• Classify inventory (ABC) for optimal pick‑pack efficiency and oversee the pick‑pack‑ship workflow.
• Track 3PL performance metrics, review invoices against contracts and approve payments in SAP MM.
• Coordinate transport providers, monitor transportation costs and drive continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, coach and discipline warehouse staff while ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Warehouse or Logistics Manager.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record in implementing process‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices and regulatory compliance.
