Application Engineer – Technical Solutions for Pump Systems

About the role

The Application Engineer will act as a technical partner, collaborating with internal teams, clients and consultants to ensure accurate product selection, timely quotations and smooth project coordination for WILO pump solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors and project developers.
• Review customer inquiries and perform accurate technical selections based on project requirements.
• Prepare and send quotations aligned with specifications and pricing strategies.
• Follow up on quotations and coordinate with the sales team to support deal closure.
• Manage project reservation workflows, tracking updates and communicating clearly.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for project activities, quotations and technical communications.
• Represent WILO’s product line in client meetings, presentations and proposals.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics and finance departments to ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay up‑to‑date with WILO product developments and attend required technical training.
• Provide post‑sale technical support and coordinate documentation for handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Power Engineering.
• 1‑5+ years of experience in application engineering, technical support or system design, preferably in MEP, pump or HVAC fields.
• Strong understanding of pump systems and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with technical software, Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
