About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will work closely with the hotel sales team to analyse market trends, report results and drive the execution of the selling strategy. This role focuses on expanding business opportunities, maximising revenue and developing a high‑performing sales culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse local market trends and generate new business leads.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities and contribute to the hotel’s selling strategy.
  • Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients.
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media.
  • Report weekly and monthly on appointments, calls made and business leads.
  • Communicate with all hotel departments as required and attend sales events.
  • Answer customer queries promptly and professionally.

Required profile

  • Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑level customer service.
  • Excellent grooming, organisational and planning abilities.
  • Flexibility to respond to varied work situations and work under pressure.
  • Previous sales experience with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Strong leadership and analytical capabilities.
