Associate Consultant Intern, Summer 2027 – Egypt

About the role

Mastercard's Advisors & Consulting Services (A&CS) team in Cairo is recruiting an Associate Consultant Intern for summer 2027. You will work in small teams to help major brands answer and implement solutions to their most challenging strategic questions, focusing on technology and data. The internship covers five specialization tracks, and track placement indicates where you will spend most of your time.

Key responsibilities

• Work in small teams on strategic consulting projects across industries such as financial services, retail, restaurants, hospitality and more.
• Analyze data, identify trends and turn insights into recommendations.
• Create clear presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Structure problems and explore solutions, and follow consulting engagements from start to finish.
• Build client relationships to understand their needs and guide strategic decisions.
• Take part in volunteer and team-building activities and attend leadership networking sessions.
• Receive hands-on mentorship from an experienced management team.

Specialization tracks

• Business Experimentation: run data-backed experiments using Test & Learn and SQL, covering product launches, marketing campaigns, loyalty and pricing.
• Strategy & Transformation: guide clients through operational and transformational challenges in product development, marketing and innovation.
• Performance Analytics: use BI platforms, SQL and Python to build propensity models and data visualizations.
• Marketing: design and run marketing campaigns and evaluate results.
• Deploy: help clients implement and scale products and transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or accelerated master's degree with an expected graduation between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Passion: actively seeking responsibility and taking pride in high-quality results.
