BIM Architect – Regional CAD/BIM Design Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Regional CAD/BIM Design Technician to join the EMEA Operations Design team. The role involves creating, updating and refining 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit, modernising legacy drawings and supporting automation initiatives in a fast‑moving design environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate 2D drawings and detailed 3D models in AutoCAD and Revit for building layouts and logistics setups.
• Convert legacy 2D drawings into current BIM models in line with BIM Execution Plans.
• Generate 3D reference models from point‑cloud scans.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve design issues.
• Provide specialised views, data extraction and detailed layouts for design packages.
• Assist field engineers by developing composite layouts and handling RFI responses.
• Support generative design and process‑automation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of professional CAD/BIM drafting experience in architecture, engineering or logistics.
• Strong organisational abilities and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
