BIM Team Lead – Architecture

About the role

The BIM Team Lead (Architect) will head the BIM team, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality BIM models, shop drawings and project documentation. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts, support construction planning and guarantee that all BIM outputs meet project requirements on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination meetings and record decisions, actions and follow‑ups.
• Manage pre‑construction BIM sessions, resolving design and site issues.
• Coordinate BIM models across internal disciplines and subcontractor modelers to produce clash‑free, fully coordinated models.
• Oversee review and approval of shop‑drawing level models and BIM deliverables.
• Support construction teams with planning, sequencing and execution activities.
• Ensure timely production of BIM models, coordinated drawings and technical documentation.
• Prepare and review drawing sets for internal use, client submission and construction.
• Assist project teams with quantity extraction, material estimation and construction planning.
• Maintain accurate records of BIM activities, progress and reporting.
• Mentor BIM team members to raise technical capability and productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of professional experience in BIM and architectural coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering, preferably architectural.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving skills for complex BIM coordination challenges.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.
• Solid understanding of architectural design principles and BIM methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
