Construction Team Leader

About the role

The Construction Team Leader oversees on‑site construction crews, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project plans. Acting as the primary link between the workforce and management, this role drives daily progress and maintains high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise skilled and unskilled workers to complete construction activities on schedule.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and adjust plans to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Ensure work complies with technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Report progress, delays, and issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper usage and upkeep.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce safety procedures.
• Assist in resolving on‑site problems and coordinate between trades (civil, MEP, etc.).
• Uphold discipline, productivity, and quality standards within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
