Construction Team Leader – Ras Al Hekma

About the role

The Construction Team Leader will head the on‑site workforce, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with project plans and schedules. This position serves as the primary link between the site crew and senior management, driving daily performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise skilled and unskilled workers to execute construction tasks.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor progress and ensure targets are met.
• Verify that work follows technical drawings, specifications and safety standards.
• Report progress, delays or issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials, ensuring proper use and upkeep.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce compliance with safety procedures.
• Assist in resolving on‑site problems and adjusting work plans as needed.
• Coordinate between trades (civil, MEP, etc.) to avoid conflicts.
• Uphold discipline, productivity and quality standards on the site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
