Contracts Engineer

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will support the project team by managing contract administration, performing risk analysis, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Contract Specialists and head‑office staff for guidance.
• Conduct risk analysis for assigned projects and submit review reports.
• Administer contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Handle post‑award activities, including contract submittals, variation orders, claims, and project close‑out.
• Prepare and negotiate variation orders, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Draft client letters for approvals and contract interpretations; review and approve as needed.
• Identify contractual risks and notify supervisors.
• Update and maintain records of all contract correspondence.
• Verify invoice accuracy, review for payment, and ensure proper approvals.
• Manage sub‑contracts, RFIs, and contribute to monthly reporting.
• Participate in claim preparation and respond to document requests daily.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in contract administration or a related field.
• Very good command of English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Preferably holds contracts‑related certifications.
