Costing & Financial Control Section Head

About the role

The Costing & Financial Control Section Head will lead all costing, budgeting, and financial control activities within a manufacturing operation. This senior position ensures accurate product costing, inventory control, and profitability analysis to support strategic decisions and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage costing and financial control across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costing systems for manufactured products.
• Handle monthly inventory count reconciliation and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage and optimize the Oracle Costing Module, ensuring proper costing transactions and configurations.
• Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed product costing and profitability analyses.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting for departments and cost centers.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop cost‑center structures and ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Calculate and monitor manufacturing overheads and assess impact on P&L.
• Support management with financial insights on pricing, margins, and performance.
• Participate in feasibility studies for new projects, products, and expansions.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Planning, and Finance teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Prepare periodic financial and costing reports for top management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in costing and financial control within manufacturing.
• Experience in doors hardware, metal manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications (CMA, CPA) are a plus.
