Creative Recruiter, YouTube Post-Production

About the role

Dragonfruit is looking for a Creative Recruiter who will own the hiring process for its post‑production team, responsible for turning raw footage into high‑impact YouTube content. The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating and hiring Video Editors and Post‑Production Managers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for Video Editors and Post‑Production Managers, from sourcing to offer.
• Source top‑tier editing talent globally, including passive candidates.
• Review applications, portfolios and trial edits, assessing pacing, storytelling, visual clarity, graphics, motion and sound design.
• Conduct screening interviews and provide clear candidate recommendations.
• Develop and maintain edit evaluation rubrics and hiring standards in partnership with post‑production leadership.
• Handle high‑volume pipelines (50‑100+ candidates) and coordinate with external recruiters when needed.
• Improve recruiting systems through AI screening, automation and pipeline tracking.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in creative, media or production roles.
• Strong understanding of video editing fundamentals and the ability to differentiate average from excellent work.
• Experience reviewing creative portfolios or trial assignments.
• High attention to detail, strong judgment and excellent written communication.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑volume hiring pipelines.
