Cybersecurity Intern – Remote – Up to $19/hr

About the role

We are looking for a remote cybersecurity professional to join our team on a short‑term, one‑month contract. The role focuses on building multi‑vulnerability codebases, creating realistic attack scenarios, and developing evaluation frameworks for AI‑driven security testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop multi‑vulnerability codebases using Go, Python, Node.js, or Rust.
• Create realistic multi‑stage attack chain scenarios and adversarial security cases.
• Build deterministic evaluation frameworks in containerized environments.
• Write security test cases, exploit checks, and analyze AI model outputs related to vulnerabilities.
• Craft obfuscated code and edge‑case logic for adversarial testing.
• Develop reproducible, scalable benchmarks for AI security assessments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or vulnerability research.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability discovery, bug bounty programs, red‑team operations, or capture‑the‑flag competitions.
• Proven ability to perform secure code reviews and apply production‑grade patches.
• Strong understanding of web security, SSRF, injection, cryptographic and filesystem vulnerabilities.
• Experience with security testing tools such as SAST, fuzzing, or IAST.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Go, Python, Node.js, Rust (at least two).
• Containerization and Linux internals (Docker).
• Automated testing frameworks.
• Security analysis tools: SAST, fuzzing, IAST.

What we offer

• Up to $19 per hour.
• Fully remote work with a required 4‑hour overlap with PST.
