Electrical Design Engineer – Revit LOD 350 Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering consulting team in Cairo. The role focuses on delivering complex commercial and residential projects in Saudi Arabia, using advanced BIM and Revit techniques to produce constructible designs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct electrical engineering analysis, load calculations and produce detailed drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• Design complete building services electrical systems, including power, lighting and ELV packages for large‑scale residential compounds, high‑rise buildings and commercial developments.
• Model and detail electrical systems in Revit to at least LOD 350, ensuring accurate clash detection, containment routing and constructibility data.
• Own the electrical design through all project phases from concept to IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, lead engineers, clients and architecture/mechanical teams to resolve design conflicts and meet schedule and budget targets.
• Perform value engineering to deliver cost‑effective, energy‑efficient and sustainable solutions while complying with international safety standards.
• Select appropriate equipment, review technical specifications and ensure material choices meet Saudi project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in electrical design within the construction or consulting sector.
• Proven track record on high‑end commercial and residential projects.

Required skills

• Advanced Revit modeling (LOD 350+).
• Electrical load calculation and analysis.
• Power system, lighting and ELV design.
• Clash detection and resolution using BIM tools.
• Preparation of IFC drawings and Bills of Quantities.
• Knowledge of international and regional design codes.
