Electrician Technician – Airport Facility Maintenance

About the role

The Airport Maintenance team is seeking an Electrician Technician to respond to guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems across the airport facility.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines; carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Document daily activities and hand‑over issues to the next shift using approved communication standards.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and thorough clean‑up of work areas.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical components, plumbing fixtures, HVAC filters, lighting, TVs and other guest‑room items.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs, including sprinkler system maintenance.
• Enter air‑handler schedules and adjust temperature settings using basic computer skills.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment and energy‑conservation.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier tasks with assistance.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to safety, security and company policies.
• Strong guest‑service orientation and ability to work effectively within a team.
