Embedded Software Engineer – eSIM / NFC / Wireless Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop and validate next‑generation eSIM, UICC, NFC and wireless connectivity solutions. The role is fully remote, supporting our engineering team with low‑level software development, protocol testing and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop embedded C software for connectivity and protocol‑based systems.
• Integrate, debug, test and validate eSIM, UICC, NFC and wireless communication technologies.
• Design and execute functional and validation test plans.
• Analyze protocol behavior, troubleshoot system‑level issues and ensure compliance.
• Create automation tools and test scripts using Java (and Python where applicable).
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware and system teams to guarantee product quality and performance.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in eSIM, UICC, SIM and NFC technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with wireless communication protocols and system integration.
• Background in testing, validation and system functionality verification.
• Familiarity with protocol ICs, embedded architectures and strong debugging skills.
• Understanding of embedded Linux or RTOS environments is a plus.
• Experience in telecom, IoT or smart‑card industries and knowledge of GSMA specifications are advantageous.
